It's all in my face: contentment and satisfaction for a job well done (snoopervising mama's truffles) and exhaustion (again it's tiring to be snoopervising mama). Me in my bed. Apparently, mama didn't tire after making truffles, she had enough energy to capture me snoozing.

Solution to cold nights? Bundle up.
And cuddle with your papa or any of your human.
Pee Ess..... We would like to thank you for all your purrs for Grandpa Ken's soul and support and love for G'ma Gay. She got all choked up and teary eyed and saying thank you in a half sob fashion. We really appreciate it. Head butts to everyone.
CATS ON TUESDAY.

Our grandpa Ken died last night. G'ma Gay (the Caucasian in the X'mas photo with Buster and Papa) who's in the picture several posts down called mama early this morning. Help us purr that he's peaceful in crossing the human bridge. He's been very sick the past year.
He and G'ma Gay are cat people. They love cats. They owned cats. They housesit cats. Their house is full of cat knick knacks.
Thank you furriends.

Six days after I was gotcha'd, I was already comfortably napping on the bed with my papa. You see I still have my tummy shaved here for my woman surgery. Mama was totally innocent about cats. I am her first cat that she touched EVER. She thought cats came with shaved tummies. Silly isn't she?

I want to show you what a little helper I was to Mama and Papa last Christmas Season.
I made sure the wreath was in good condition and presentable.
I went above and beyond the call of duty and inspected every single bulb on the Xmas tree lights. Tough job kitties.
I have to ask Mama's opinion of course. She said I did great!
Then I helped entertain guests at the Holiday luncheon at our house. You see Papa is carrying me and my g'mas are with me here.
This is EXACTLY what it looks like. Cuzin Max and I didn't like each other from first meeting. He growled and I hissed. After the shot, I jumped out of Papa's arms and hid upstairs in my bedroom. I shouldn't be banished in my own house in my own party.
This year, I'm not inviting Max :)

There were many doggies in attendance, which wasn't a surprise. What was surprising however was a kitty was there too. An orange kitty just like me. And what fancy wheels he's cruising around on. Does anyone else has this fancy gadget/carrier? I want one!
Mama went to walk the length of the festival and found these wonderful acrylic (pls correct if wrong) tiles with cat faces on them. Mama was heartbroken she didn't get any tile at all.
You see she cannot just get one. She wants a whole lot of them. She thinks they would look great as a back splash for our kitchen. And she didn't have the budget for that yet. I agree, noms for us kitties first before anything for her kitchen, right kitties?

.....from all the Thanksgiving festivities.
Mama had a few friends over - 1 grandpa, 2 grandmas 1 uncle and 1 auntie - for Thanksgiving dinner. Papa deepfried the turkey in the backyard.
Buster and I stayed with all the people in the dining room. I sat in my chair when they all decided to watch the James Bond marathon after dinner. Mama and Papa were so proud of me. I'm no longer averse to many people.
As a treat for good behavior, Buster and I got toona over the weekend.
Now, I go back to napping. I know the pillow needs a case :) I'll have mama work on that pronto.

I took this video earlier in the year, probably spring. When my catpapa and I work in the garden the kitties would be waiting for us by the screen door. Emma would spend a few moments, but then would resume her napping or bird watching somewhere else. Buster on the other hand would stay as long as we are outside gardening. When we are on all fours weeding or planting and hidden by bigger bush or the orange tree, Buster would meow like we're missing. So I regularly stand and show myself to Buster who would continue to meow until he sees us.
That one day I had my little camera with me because I wanted to take photos of flowers in the garden, but it came in handy when I decided to record my conversation with Buster.
This is our entry for this week's CATS ON TUESDAY.

Hello dear furriends. Meet our cuzin Max - he's a mix of 5 breeds. I cannot remember a single breed, neither can Mama. But isn't he such a cute pooch?
I don't like him so very much. We started on the wrong paw when we first met. Mama is going to show you that photo later on, how we first met.
Max's dad is my mama's big brother. We're relatives so I have to be nice to him :).

Hi Kitties this is catmama blogging today. Buster is still tuckered out from handing out candies after candies on Halloween. He was an active participant in the whole process. He would jump out of wherever he was when the doorbell rang (well he does on a regular basis too - we suspect he's a dog masquerading as a cat) and wanted to see the kids. In return, the kids were really surprised to see this fascinated look on the "el gatito" as most kiddies call him as I handed out treats. All in all, Buster had a busy night.
I am constantly entertained watching him sleep. He has so many positions and he looks so sweet and angelic - no traces of naughtiness at all.
Here I find his sleeping pose very cute, how did he manage to have one of his paws elevated from the floor?
Emma is doing good kitties. She's just not into blogging right now. She has bird tv occupying her at the moment.

Emma takes care of the top part.
One guess as to who's not leaving any stones unturned. A very thorough job by Buster.
BUSTER: I have to make sure all's okay under here.
BUSTER: This needs straightening.
When the job is done, we enjoy the fruits of our labor.
Nap time for us kitties. See you later.

This is my house and if I want to be on the coffee table, I'd be on the coffee table.
And if I want to watch life play out from that perch, so be it :)
Well, until mama yells that I scratched another part of the the coffee table.
CATS ON TUESDAY.

Here are some of the photos Mama took on my first day at home. They fetch me from the shelter, which was 15 miles away about 6 pm. They let me loose inside the car on the drive home and I freaked out at the car lights. That was funny, Mama thought.
I got home and decided to roll over the carpet to put my manly scent all over the room.
That activity was really tedious so I had to power up with some noms.
Then I continued to explore the house.
Emma wasn't happy. If only looks could kill :) Doncha worry we're getting along now.
I am so happy to be celebrating my first year in my forever home. I hope every kitty gets a happy forever home.
