It's been raining here kitties since Toosday. According to the forecast, it will continue until the weekend. The humans are very happy because up until this week, we have had a very dry winter.

While the hoomans are happy with the rain, my homeless kitty friends that visit us are soaked. Mama wants to take them to the garage to keep them warm and dry, but they don't allow mama to touch them, well not all of them.

Look at me, I'm inside my house, in a warm "bed" sleeping and eating. Count your blessings kitties if you have a furever home.

And remember be kind to all who doesn't have.

  1. That's a very good message. We wish more humans would learn to be kind to stray animals. There's no need to hurt them.
It's been raining everyday and we hope our alley cat friends are able to stay dry and warm (they usually hang out at the abandoned house nearby).

  2. We feel sorry for our outside kitty when it rains or is cold. Mom did set up a shelter and puts the food in there when the weather is bad. Poor Miss Gray looks so sad when she is soaked!

  5. I wish there was some way to encourage the kitties to go in the garage on their own when the weather is like this, since they won't let humans near them. I hate to think of homeless kitties having to deal with wet weather. :-(

  6. You look very cozy there! I'm glad you're warm and dry yourself.
I guess you have to be happy that the homeless kitties are fed, if not dry. That's so much better than hungry and wet.

  11. Those poor kitties! There's a kitty in our neighborhood that will be outside in the freezing weather; mama wants to bundle him up in her coat and bring him inside!

  12. My parents lived in a small town and had a garage and workshop. During the day, any kitty that wanted to could come inside those buildings. They would find a couple litter boxes, water and dry food in there. If they stayed, they'd get shut inside for the night, though. I come from a long line of cat lovers...

  13. How sad for the homeless kitties, but you choose probably the best place in the house (cats always do ! )
