Mancat Monday

One time when mom and dad were dropping off stuff at the Salvation Army, the mom spotted a candle holder for tea candles. She's been wanting one of those for a long time, but couldn't find one that was to her liking. Until that day. She quickly picked up the item, paid for it, and brought it home to get the kitties paw of approval for her purchase. Emma naturally showed no inclination to participate in this activity, but Buster gamely inspected the item to his satisfaction.

Not bad.

Nope, not bad at all.

Mama: Thank you Buster for the overwhelming paw of approval.

Don't worry kitties we use the battery operated candles in this house. Not only is it safer for humans, the kitties don't care much for the scents that real candles come in nowadays.

  1. You are lucky that candle holder got a paw of approval! I'm sure Buster is quite discerning.

  3. That's a very nice candle holder. And battery operated candles are most definitely a good idea.

  6. Buster, the new candle holder only enhanced your good looks. We noticed those were the battery operated tea lights, and mom was glad to see that. We do find that those little things make quite good hockey pucks when we can get our paws on one. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  7. That is a very pretty votive holder. We also use flameless candles. Safer. Much safer with kitty paws and tails.

  9. I love that last photo..

isn't it sad that you felt the need to put a disclaimer, like people would think you wouldn't have your cat's best interest at heart in all things

  10. NI, I am GLAD you said that as some would chastise and say not to have flames around cats.
