Well it's August. And people keep saying it's the dog days of summer. What does that mean? Is it the month for dogs? Well, I don't care for the dog days of summer. I'll just stay here and watch bird tv, which is what I'm doing right here. I am facing the door to the backyard.

  1. No dogs here this summer! And it hasn't been overly hot here either - often a little less warm than normal for this time of year!

  3. I always thought it meant it was the time for neighbourhood dogs to wait on me, paw and paw. Problem is, can't find any neighbourhood dogs willing to do that. MOUSES!

  4. Emma you look stunning and we think it's funny that they don't call them cat days of summer since we are heat seeking missiles of fur

  6. We hope there aren't any dogs showing up. Putting up with this hot weather is enough without that!

  7. We never understood why they call it that, either. Either way, we're stayin put under the AC until this heat breaks. MOL!

  10. Well, humans complain about the dog days of summer so the days are aptly named. ;) Enjoy your Bird TV.
