I'm Resting

Copy of 2011_07_03 008
.....from all the Thanksgiving festivities.

Mama had a few friends over - 1 grandpa, 2 grandmas 1 uncle and 1 auntie - for Thanksgiving dinner. Papa deepfried the turkey in the backyard.

Buster and I stayed with all the people in the dining room. I sat in my chair when they all decided to watch the James Bond marathon after dinner. Mama and Papa were so proud of me. I'm no longer averse to many people.

As a treat for good behavior, Buster and I got toona over the weekend.

Now, I go back to napping. I know the pillow needs a case :) I'll have mama work on that pronto.

Getting Ready

Hello kitties, we are getting ready for a big day ahead. Tonite when the humans come home from work we have a BIG job to do. We will snoopervise the cutting, chopping, slicing, dicing, cooking, and baking - not to mention the cleaning of the house. Whew, a LOT of thing to do. Just listing them all down makes us tired. So while the humans are at work relaxing infront of their computers, we will do this in preparation for the long night and hard work ahead.

..........and sleep.

When I was a little boy

Buster
I sit on Mama's lap and get my belly rub. Now, I don't sit on mama's lap anymore. She misses our bonding time together.

Cats on Tuesday

Catmama here:  Kitties accept my apologies for not coming over and visiting you.  Buster and Emma are really pissed that I haven't had time to do that.  I promise to come and visit you when my schedule allows it.  We all miss you.

I took this video earlier in the year, probably spring.  When my catpapa and I work in the garden the kitties would be waiting for us by the screen door.  Emma would spend a few moments, but then would resume her napping or bird watching somewhere else.  Buster on the other hand would stay as long as we are outside gardening.  When we are on all fours weeding or planting and hidden by bigger bush or the orange tree, Buster would meow like we're missing.  So I regularly stand and show myself to Buster who would continue to meow until he sees us.

That one day I had my little camera with me because I wanted to take photos of flowers in the garden, but it came in handy when I decided to record my conversation with Buster.

This is our entry for this week's CATS ON TUESDAY.

Meet Cuzin Max

Max
Hello dear furriends. Meet our cuzin Max - he's a mix of 5 breeds. I cannot remember a single breed, neither can Mama. But isn't he such a cute pooch?

I don't like him so very much. We started on the wrong paw when we first met. Mama is going to show you that photo later on, how we first met.

Max's dad is my mama's big brother. We're relatives so I have to be nice to him :).

Purrs,
Buster

Napster

buster
Hi Kitties this is catmama blogging today. Buster is still tuckered out from handing out candies after candies on Halloween. He was an active participant in the whole process. He would jump out of wherever he was when the doorbell rang (well he does on a regular basis too - we suspect he's a dog masquerading as a cat) and wanted to see the kids. In return, the kids were really surprised to see this fascinated look on the "el gatito" as most kiddies call him as I handed out treats. All in all, Buster had a busy night.

I am constantly entertained watching him sleep. He has so many positions and he looks so sweet and angelic - no traces of naughtiness at all.

Here I find his sleeping pose very cute, how did he manage to have one of his paws elevated from the floor?

Emma is doing good kitties. She's just not into blogging right now. She has bird tv occupying her at the moment.
