We had a human house guest over the weekend so our computer time was nonexistent. Our humans took the guest around town, like exploring San Franciso (cruising under the Golden Gate Bridge, except they couldn't see the bridge - it was enveloped in very thick fog) and Monterey for the fishies. We should have made the trip to Monterey Bay Aquarium too except that somecat (me!) and car rides don't go well together.
But the joy of joys is that the humans still find time for a full belleh rub session. See my toesies all spread out like that? That's like me purring without sound (although I was purring loudly too).
Our humans abandoned us for a part of the day today. They went to some friends who invited them for a World Cup viewing party for the Portugal vs USA game. I told mama to stay and just nap with us. But she said she wants to ogle Ronaldo. I told her I'm more handsome than him, don't you agree kitties?
Buster slept ontop of mama's purse. He takes advantage every time the mama forgets to hang her purse. It must be the leather smell that makes Buster want to sleep ontop of it.
And then when both of us took a break from napping, we were in such a good mood that we were in close proximity and never batted each other or growled at each other. Mama calls this picture peace and harmony.
This is how we did Caturday! How was yours kitties?
Guess what? Our mama forgot to post yesterday after days of preparing to post something for our blog anniversary. Yesterday was our third blog anniversary, and we are so thankful for all the friends we made via this small niche on the web. Thank you for your friendships and your visits. We appreciate all of you and your blogs guide and educate our humans about kitties. Thank you.
This was our very first post, if you are curious click here. The very first comment this blog received came from the Magnificent Baker's Dozen from the Katnip Lounge. We are feeling nostalgic.
Yes kitties, Buster (that would be me) is pissed today. Would you like to know why? I am going to tell you. The human mama had the nerve to tell me to get my butt inside the house after I was enjoying my quiet Sunday strolling in the garage dragging spider webs anywhere I go.
Naturally, I talked back in my ugly face (that's what she calls my face when I meow my displeasure at her - look at the picture)and she left me alone. Half an hour later I went to the house and found her ironing. She saw me enter the room and wanted to make friends with me again. I ignored her and growled at her.
Well that was an hour ago. Right this minute the mean mama is blogging in the bed while two inches away I'm having a good nap. I don't know where my sisfur Emma is. Probably hiding. Meowdad put fleas medication on her and she's pissed. Ha! Both of us are pissed at the humans today.
