My Kryptonite

203108

During the Thanksgiving Holidays, there was a lot of cooking done in our kitchen. And like a great kitty that I am, I was snoopervising everything that was going on. Dad put a box to contain recyclables while they work in the kitchen. Mom threw out a bag that contained the celery. I snatched the bag from the box and went craaaaazy! The same crazy reaction happened when I stumbled upon the empty cilantro bag.

Now mom knows that catnip is not my thing, but celery and cilantro are, who knew?

Anyone else do this?

Mancat Monday

Hello kitties!

Did you all have a good Thanksgiving? Our humans have a great one. One family member had a milestone birthday and today is catpapa's birthday too.

We had some turkey and tuna and treats and lotsa play time because humans don't like to shop on Black Friday. We snoopervise them in decorating.

Mom took down the curtains and changed them into holiday curtains. Her words not mine, and so I help her keep the old curtains in place before they get laundered.

I did a very good job - Mom said so herself.

And I realized dirty curtains are not so bad at all.

Mancat Monday

pentax_8866_edited-1

Hey mom, we know it's Thanksgiving week so does this mean you will be too busy to blog this week? Oh, are you going to make that yummy turkey also? Are there people coming to eat MY turkey? Mom if people are coming for dinner, can I just have my turkey in bed?

Buster is....

IMG 220213
Having a pensive moment.

A little anecdote about our little (big) boy:

Every night as I come home from work I dole out treats. Emma looks forward to this event. She jumps up on the little plastic bin by the window where one of her food bowls is located. Buster's food bowl is on the floor across from Emma's. Big boy eats fast and also I give Emma more treats because Buster already is quite big so he gets less treats (don't tell him). Last night we did the same routine, but this time Buster ate so fast that by the time his treats were gone Emma was still munching hers. He looked at Emma and then looked at me with his eyes questioning: Why is she still eating when I am already done? It was hilarious. The look on his face was total disbelief!

Other Cat

canonrebel_3150
Our other cat today is our neighbor whom we named and answered to FUZZY (we are sure she has other name). She comes for dinner most nights and demands scritches. Mom stalked her one day and saw that she entered the house/property two houses up the hill from us on the same side of the street, so that eliminates the worry of her crossing the street.

I got treats Monday

20161113_135905
Okay so I got the treats on Sunday. Don't you just love it when the humans actually bring home the one item you put in their grocery list?

Human is still catching up with all the work that has piled up on her desk. That is according to her. Truth be told we are suspicious about the veracity of this excuse. How much paperwork can pile up in a week's absence really. I offered to help her with the paperwork - you know I'm a master of paper shredding.

Reaction!

20161108_193256
While the entire country was sitting on pins and needles waiting for the results of the election last night, I was napping. I couldn't care less, unless of course the change in administration would affect my food allowance, my treat schedule, and my play time.

Slowly Going Back To Blogging

20160922_181149
Hello kitties!

The humans came back on Sunday at 1:30 am. Since then, we have been lavished with belly rubs and scritches on demand and treats galore. These are the reasons why we don't mind the humans going away.

We will be back really soon with blogging and visiting on a full blast mode.

We missed you all!
