We're going to go where other kitties haven't gone before. We have asked our friends from the Monterey Bay Aquarium to share their selfies. Kitties, these are fishes. They are not your actual fishes in the bowl in your house. Some of them can eat a kitten whole.
You would think I'm snobbish and aloof. I was. When I was younger I only liked my pawrents. None of the friends that come to the house to watch ball game - particularly Warriors NBA game - gets my paw of approval. But the Warriors have been really really good three straight years in a row now and Buster and I have gotten used to their weird smells. None of them own a dog or a cat, so they have perfect scents.
This is one of my favorite people that come here. He's my "big brofur" without a fur and with two legs. When I see him, no matter where he's sitting or laying in the couch playing games on his phone, I would be sitting on top of him.
Finally mom was carrying her phone so she got a photo of this moment. There were so many moments that didn't get photographed because mom does not have the habit of carrying around her phone when she's at home.
Since I turned the big 0-7 this week, I felt I am mature enough to share the wisdom I have gained in my 7 years of life. I made a video that will be used in the Kitty University as a teaching tool. This is a video of how to ignore your pawparazzi pawrent.
As you know today isn't my actual birthday. My mom guesstimated it after the shelter calculated my age to be 5 months when I got Gotcha'd so mom just counted back. As it turned out I have the same birthday as mom's oldest brother.
How was your Mom's Day kitties? Did your moms go to brunch and abandoned you? Ours chose to stay home and watch the San Antonio Spurs and the Golden State Warriors on tv. Emma was really happy because she got to cuddle with mama the whole time. I got one of my 2 baths a year courtesy of catpapa. I smell so good now and my furs are floofy. I was pissed for with the humans for a bit there, but I accepted all the offerings of treat to assuage my hurt feelings over the unneeded bath.
I was helping mama do her chores today. You know it's my Mother's gift to her for all the feeding and taking care of me all year long. One of my favorite chores is making sure fresh laundry comes out warm and not wrinkly so that mom from ironing. The time she saved from not ironing we spent cuddling. Oh while I was straightening the laundry I also took a few selfies.
Mama hangs the clothes that need ironing on the back of the couch, which is my fave spot as well.
Just me today. Nothing much to report. Just chilling. Weekend weather was pleasant, thankfully the hot left on Friday so we had a pleasant weekend. How about you kitties? What's going on in your side of the world?
We are getting back our blogging legs very slowly as it is; then we were hit by consecutive days of 90-degree weather, which makes for lazy kitties having lazy days. Today looks like the heat is going to let up; although the humans have put in a central heating and AC in November so we got to try the AC for the first time last night and it worked!
Pee Ess..... this is how my human watches tv every night!
How are you all? Did you miss us? We surely missed you. We were gone hibernating for most of April because we allowed the humans to take a wonderful once-in-a-lifetime trip to Morocco. Knowing the human lady, we anticipated that she would be on the look out for Other Cats so we even packed a bag of kitty treat in her luggage, which she joyfully shared with kitties she met along the way.
She reported that she has come in contact with many kitties in souks, medinas, and fortified cities. She photographed many, but few photos came out fine. Rest assured we will share them with you.
They stayed in Lisbon for a few days before coming home. Sadly, they saw no kitty there. Where are the Lisbon kitties? No one's on the street. She failed to spy them on the windows.
Needless to say, our humans are reenergized by the trip and are very willing to obey our demands once again.
