Mom and Dad are Back
So the mom and dad are back from a 2-night camping (state park) in Sonoma Valley. It was a scorching hot during the day. And the temps dipped at night. Mom understood what the grapevines go through each single day with hot days and cool nights, perfect for wine growing.
The campsite is in the town of Kenwood in Sonoma Valley. Mom and dad and friends went for a hike in the morning (too hot already), then stopped at a Mexican grocery store that sells yummy tacos for lunch. They went to a winery for olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting, made a point to visit Jacuzzi winery for wine tasting. Afterwards, they went for window shopping in Sonoma.
Furthermore, the group campsite was next to a volunteer-run observatory where they got lectures on basic astronomy and got to look at very cool astromy stuff, like nebula, starts, clusters, and of course Saturn and its rings on the huge telescope. How educational for all of them.
Mom loves the fact that she can sleep on the ground at night and do wine tasting during the day.
