Thankful Thursday
Emma is much harder to tackle. She needs to be in the purrfect mood, in the purrfect setting; otherwise, she's going to bolt and you'll witness a high jump exhibition worthy of Olympic gold.
We are Emma and Buster. We are rescued by Mama and Papa from the shelter. Emma came first and 7 months later Buster joined the party. This is our life, our purrfect life.
We all get our claws trimmed at home - unless Binga or Boodie has a vet visit that coincides with their claws getting too long. Then they let the vet techs do it.
ReplyDeleteI will say, though, it takes two people to trim Binga's claws.
Boy, Tiffany my baby sitter has quite a time with me talking and hissing as she trims my claws. I make a lot of threats! Buster, you make me want to at least try to behave.
ReplyDeleteGreat job Buster! We all get our claws trimmed at home too and we really don't mind. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteOh how we wish Teddy would let us do his pawdicutes without a wrestling match every time. He HATES IT....squirms, twists, screams, he's such a Drama Queen.....we have to wrap him up like a burrito in a towel and even then it's almost impossible. YES we could have the vet do it for us but - well - we are nothing if not CONVINCED one of these days he will cooperate!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam (while Teddy looks at me like I'm a criminal!)
Our mom has just given up on trimming our toes. SCORE!
ReplyDeleteJenna doesn't let me touch her claws. Marie has to be in the perfect mood, but I can at least work on her claws. I wish my two were as laid back about claw trimming!
ReplyDeleteBuster, you are doing an awesome job with getting your nails trimmed. You are so relaxed with it. Emma, we would love to see you high jump skills when it's nail trimming day. Thanks for sharing the wonderful photos. Have a great one.

Wow, you’re being really good, Buster.
ReplyDeleteSome kitties love this and others not so much. Needs doing though.
ReplyDeleteHave a purrfect Thankful Thursday. ♥
You are lucky Buster.
ReplyDeleteMy Huan is waaaaaaaaaay too smart to even ATTEMPT to trim my talons, ha ha meow.
ReplyDeleteI was such a wild thing (feral) when I got 'dopted that the Human couldn't even name me. She just called me Kitty for weeks! Then one day the secretary at her work asked, "SO how's that little Spitfire doing?" And that was it! My real name is Spitfire but she started calling me Spitty right away. And so that's how I gotted my name.
Well done, Buster! We get our claws trimmed at home, too. :) - Love, Gracie and Ava
ReplyDeleteA pawdicure at home, that's pawsome :) Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend :) <3
ReplyDeleteTalk about being pampered!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend...
