Meet our cousin

Mom's brother's house is next to an open space. A couple of years ago, a cat started hanging out in their small porch. Mom's brother is now retired, but when he was still working he would come home around midnight and would find the cat sitting in the chair on the porch. The family has a dog, our cousin Max who barks A LOT, and obviously this cat was not fazed by the noise. When my brother comes from work he would feed the kitty. Unbeknownst to him, one of the kids also feeds it when he comes home from work too. This went on for months until winter came. Mom told her SIL to put box and some warm space for the kitty to sleep on, however, the kitty had better things on its mind. It decided to move inside the house with the barking doggo. Still spends a lot of time in the porch but sleeps with one of uncle's kids.

Please forgive the mom she cannot remember the kitty's name, an unforgivable offense we know, but since she has been super nice to us lately, we'll look the other way.

Anyway another successful story of cat adopting a family.

Pee Ess.... mom's brother messaged her and said the kitty's name is Ming!

  1. I am grateful that Ming was invited in. And even if not invited...came in and was made welcome . Mom smiled at the shoes outside the door. She nor the family wear shoes in the house. She bought and keeps shoe covers for workmen.
