We are Emma and Buster. We are rescued by Mama and Papa from the shelter. Emma came first and 7 months later Buster joined the party. This is our life, our purrfect life.
Well it's August. And people keep saying it's the dog days of summer. What does that mean? Is it the month for dogs? Well, I don't care for the dog days of summer. I'll just stay here and watch bird tv, which is what I'm doing right here. I am facing the door to the backyard.
I always thought it meant it was the time for neighbourhood dogs to wait on me, paw and paw. Problem is, can't find any neighbourhood dogs willing to do that. MOUSES!
No dogs here this summer! And it hasn't been overly hot here either - often a little less warm than normal for this time of year!
ReplyDeleteAw so cute!! I love bird tv too! Do you ever make funny sounds at the birds? I do and dad laughs at me hehe.
ReplyDeleteI cant wait for summer here it has been so cold. :)

ReplyDeletePurrs,
Seville
Emma you look stunning and we think it's funny that they don't call them cat days of summer since we are heat seeking missiles of fur
ReplyDeleteyeah, why isn't it called the "cat days of August?" Geeze........
ReplyDeleteHey, me too. Honest!
ReplyDeleteWe hope there aren't any dogs showing up. Putting up with this hot weather is enough without that!
ReplyDeleteWe never understood why they call it that, either. Either way, we're stayin put under the AC until this heat breaks. MOL!
ReplyDeleteI hope the programming was super good pretty girl!
ReplyDeleteYou look like you're concentrating on something good, Emma!
ReplyDeleteWell, humans complain about the dog days of summer so the days are aptly named. ;) Enjoy your Bird TV.
ReplyDeleteI hear you. I don't like the "dog" days of summer either.
