Thankful Thursday
A little update about me:
I've gotten two increases in my insulin dosage since I have been first diagnosed with diabetes. We all are hoping that this new dosage will be the correct one that will stabilize my glucose level. I'm pretty much okay, except that my mobility has been limited terribly. Jumping to mom's bed is my favorite thing to do, and I cannot do that anymore, well at least for now. My mama is optimistic that someday I will regain the strength in my hind legs. However, the vet is not as optimistic just yet. She said we can tell once my levels have stabilized, not until then. So we are still trying out this increased dosage and will get back to the vet in 2 weeks. Paws crossed.
In the meantime, the humans are making sure that they follow all the doctor's order. I am getting all the love I can from the humans and from all of you. I have a good attitude about all these things so far. Keep the purrs coming.
I am thankful for all the support -
Buster

ReplyDeleteBuster, we are hoping this new dosage will do the trick and you will be jumping onto mom's bed in no time. So just rest and in two weeks you will get checked out. We love the copycat photo of you. Have a great Thankful Thursday.

Purrayers and POTP for you, Buster - and all those who love and care for you !
ReplyDeleteWe are sad to hear you can't jump on your mom's bed. I got a step stool for my Himalayan when she began to have problems jumping on my bed. We hope everything will be stable and you won't need a "boost" to cuddle in bed.
ReplyDeletePee Ess: We think your dad did a great job imitating you :)
Buster, they say imitation is the highest form of flattery!
ReplyDeleteI am praying for you Buster. XO
ReplyDeleteThat photo of you and your dad is great, Buster! Here's to everything settling out for you--we'll keep purring.
ReplyDeleteoh sweet Buster, we pray you will get your leg strength back and that they find the appropriate dosage of meds. Sending TONS of POTP and love!
ReplyDeleteWe’re sending you many purrs, Buster and hope this new dose will stabilize you.
ReplyDeleteOh sweetie we are sending lots of purrs and prayers and keeping our paws crossed that this new dose will work.
