Sunday Selfie
Hah, you think only Buster takes selfies with the daddeh? I do too.
May I bring something to your attention kitties and hoomans? I am 12 years old, 13 in a couple of months. I've been with the humans since I was 2 years old. Never have I been a loud kitty. They barely hear my meows. Recently, my meows are quite loud. And frequent. Mom said that this is so because I'm a senior kitty, getting old, and getting deaf so I need to meow louder so I could hear it. Is there a semblance of truth to this? Kitties obviously mama does not know how to consult Mr. Google so she's consulting you.
One time I was sleeping with Buster while mama was "off to work" and I woke Buster up because I was dreaming and my meow was so loud! The humans are enjoying these little things that I do now.
That's a wonderful ussie you two and it sure made us smile!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great selfie with yout dad, Emma! Mom may be right about your louder meowing, Emma. That's what happened with our angels Graphite and Gracie. XO
ReplyDeleteWhat a great selfie! It's possible you are losing your hearing, Emma. Binga got louder as she got older... although at an older age than you. I think she was maybe 16 or so.
ReplyDeleteWe are the same age but so far I am still soft unless I am making an announcement about Donkey. TheI am loud!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! :-)
ReplyDeleteEmma what a cute photo with your dad!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet selfie. Sorry you are losing your hearing though.
ReplyDeleteEmma you look so sweet and look at Daddy looking so very proud of you! Wonderful Selfie! Our Angel Buddy started loud meows when he was 16 or 17. He would Scream into Dads ear when he was only a foot away. Dad would jump. Before he would just meow so Dad says he was losing his hearing. Wish Dad could talk Cat
ReplyDeleteWow! You and your Dad in a selfie is so furry cool! You look terrific! And maybe you got more to say now than you used too! Have a marvellously Happy Day!
ReplyDeleteCute selfies! You'll be a teenager soon. I do hope your louder meowing is just because you want to be heard (and nothing else related to your health).
ReplyDeleteWhat a great selfie Emma! I think your Mom's theory about the louder meowing is sound. Out older cats meow louder too.
ReplyDeletePrecious selfie! I think your mom may be right.
ReplyDeleteI would guess it's normal because lots here seem to think so too. Our Weasley (very senior adoption) yelled every night bless him. I didn't know much about cats then or I would maybe have cuddled him more but he would not come in the bedroom * sigh *.
ReplyDeleteYour selfie is awesome, and you need to print off a paper version to frame and keep as a precious memory.
Angel Pipo used to be all loud and yowl-y in his last year or so...he would pace and yowl.
ReplyDeleteWonderful 'ussie'!
