Thankful Thursday

It's true that there are plenty of reasons to be thankful for. Despite the restrictions and fear of COVID-19 and the human grandma's medical condition, we are thankful that our humans - both of them - continue to work and are busier than ever in their work. I overheard them saying they are so thankful that they are working - even at home - otherwise they would lose their mind being cooped up at home.

Buster and I are thankful for the warm beds in cold rainy weather, and the sunpuddles that seem to alternate with the rain.

  1. Hi Emma and Buster and Humans, Thank you for your sweet comment. Spitty was a fine ManCat who lived a long and happy life with me and all his blog furiends. I am very, very sad that it was his Time, but grateful to have had him in my life for nearly 17 years.

Maggie is a kitty I have been fostering for about a week. She will be with me for a month or two, I think, while her owner sorts out her living situation. Maggie needed a place to stay and I needed furry company to help me cope with Spitty's rather sudden departure, so the timing of her arrival worked well for both of us. I will be looking for another kitty or two (permanent residents, not fosters) sometime in the near future though. I don't want to be catless for long, and Spitty would understand that and approve.

    XOXOXO The Human

  2. Mom could never be cooped up any more than she has allowed herself to be. She has to get out of the house.

  8. You guys are very fortunate. My human too, as she has always worked at home, and while there have been inconveniences during the pandemic (mainly concerning me and my outings), we haven't been impacted the way many are.
