Mancat Monday

It's Monday again.

For a bit of news: my mama is in trouble with the vet. I gained weight! The exact opposite of what the vet asked mama to do. To NOT feed me. Specifically absolutely NO dry food, according to the vet. I'm pretty sure that's not even LEGAL. Anyway, I have been very obstinate and would not touch my wet food if there is no dry food to go with it.

The dosage for my insulin has been reduced and the vet seem to think that now it's the right dosage.

I cannot promise you that I would not ask for dry food, or eat my wet food. What I can promise you all is that I will continue to make this a tough time for the mama. I have a master's degree in begging and being a pest.

  2. That sitting by the food bowl and asking is the hardest thing a mom ever has to see. Goes against all our instincts.

  4. Oh Buster - dieting is VERY hard for humans, so it is no wonder you kitties are stubborn - you really see NO REASON to have to !

  5. We’re glad you’ve found the right dose, Buster, but that dry food can’t be good for you. Y’know, there’s a dry food called Young Again that is really low in carbs which is important for diabetic cats. You can find it on their website.

  7. Buster, you and Izzy have a lot in common in the food department!

  8. Buster, we know that kitties don't like to diet when they love their food a way they love all the time. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful rest of your week.

  9. Oh Buster, good for you for making life tough for your Humans! If you have to suffer, then they ALL should have to suffer, dammit! Still and all, sometimes the Humans are doing their best . . . but you don't have to make easy for them!

  10. Poor boy ! Arthur is the opposite, he doesn't like dry food and always wants wet food. He eats like a horse, and I let him, because he is a bit boney at his old age. I wished you could send him the kgs you have to much !

  11. That dry is a tough habit to break, huh? Buster, we ARE glad that they've figured out your insulin dosage.
